Hi, I'm Sami, the creator of Peer2Gear.

Like many of you, finding the right gear meant I rarely had the budget to buy brand new instruments. I was always searching for quality equipment without the massive retail markup.

One day, a musician in my neighborhood suggested trading gear that we weren't using anymore. It was an absolute game-changer. Suddenly, I had access to incredible, tested instruments without the stress of paying full price.

But there was another side to the story. Over the years, on the rare occasions I did upgrade to something complex and exciting, I'd always end up with extra pedals or amps. Sadly, much of this great equipment ended up collecting dust in a closet.

That was my "Eureka!" moment. What if we could connect musicians who love to upgrade—and often have too much gear—with artists who just want a reliable instrument to play?
